What the work involves
A high-end finish is decided at the preparation stage. Surfaces are filled, sanded and sealed until they read flat under a raking light, because a gloss or an eggshell shows everything left under it.
In an occupied home the working area is sheeted and closed off each evening, and the house is put back at the end of the day.
